Perfect Fall Weekend

You just couldn't beat the gorgeous fall weather on the Wasatch Front this past weekend. We took a trip to Wheeler Farm to check out all of the animals and pick some pumpkins.

Road Trip!

We headed to Breckenridge, CO this past weekend to meet up with Tia and Tio (AKA Sarah and Eddie) and their friends Kevin and Chris!

Kjella in the early stages of the trip - still looking content to be in the car (we take what we can get ... she is not one to sleep in the car so mom and dad take turns driving and entertaining her).
We stopped in Leadville, CO to see Feds and check out his new shop!


Kjella felt right at home in Feds' bike shop and was having a great time. She even did her first official army crawl on the floor.

The crew took a hike to Boulder Lake - only a few minutes in and Kjella is sound asleep.

Boulder Lake was slightly disappointing but the views were spectacular!

Eddie and Sarah are making plans. This picture wasn't even staged - seriously!

The crazy Tia and Tio rode on the bumper back down to the highway ... they are TUFF - it was freakin' COLD not to mention they were putting their safety in the hands of David's off-road driving skills (yikes!)

Kjella and Eddie are quickly becoming the best of friends.

Heading back up to the condo - Kjella and Chris both got piggy-backs. At least Chris has an excuse - nursing a back injury. Kjella - what is your excuse? She needs to start pulling some serious weight around here.

We stopped at the Colorado National Monument on the way home. Good times all around but way too fast ...

Kjella thought the weekend went too fast as well. She misses her Tia and Tio already ... Can't wait for the next time.
