Our lil' Bea-ing
Oh the joys of new life. We came home Sunday night and began our new life as three. Kjella felt instantly at home and pooped for the first time in 24 hours. The night went as well as expected with minimal fuss. Feedings are going very well and she is a little barracuda. The animals are adjusting and are remarkably gentle and intrigued by our little one. In fact, I took Gracie for a short run yesterday and she was more concerned about turning around to watch over Kjella than running.
Kate is a very natural mother and has a warm aura around her presence. Kjella is very attached and only wants to sleep in her arms or on her stomach. I am relegated to the not-so-pleasant duties such as changing diapers, waking her for feedings, and holding her during gas pains...which is fine by me.
We are truly enjoying our sweet bea and she has already brought much joy, fulfillment, and love to our lives.
