Sickness

Miss Bea has come down with some sort of nasty virus. After a rest this afternoon she had a temp of 102.8 :( So it has been a very 'chill' day. We watched 'A Bug's Life' and now she's reading stories with Grandma. Hopefully the virus is short-lived ....

Minnesota!

Kjella and I arrived safe and sound (and quickly) in MN! She did great on the flight. It helped that we had 150 mph tailwind so the flight only took 1 hour and 10 minutes!! Can't beat that!

Walking up to the park with Grandma and Grandpa.

Hamming it up for the camera :) (Check out her new haircut!)

What a Turkey!

Kjella is meeting the newest member of the Beyer family (one of twelve new members that is!) Jay, Rachel and Eli now have ten chickens (laying hens) and two turkeys. Kjella is meeting one of the turkeys here (I believe this one is named 'Thanksgiving'). She's not quite sure what to think as you can see by her serious expression ...

Our Newest Neighbors

These ducks have made our neighborhood home for the spring. Kjella loves to wake up in the morning and see if they are hanging out in our front yard!

Bath time silliness

What could be more fun than pretending to eat a purple comb for lunch and singing the ABC's?

Kjella's first ski

Another monumental occasion. Next winter the alpine skis will make an appearance.

Kjella and Henry's first kiss

And it begins......

Big Helper

Kjella has been a big helper in the kitchen lately. Here she is making Dylan's chocolate cherry birthday cake. It was a great success. The next day we made banana bread and when I wasn't looking she dumped the entire box of baking soda into the batter .... Not such a great success :)

Downtown Library

Dad had to work Saturday (again ....) so Mom and Kjella spent the day at the downtown library. Kjella was really into the red monkey ...

Mmmmmm .... Lunch at the library cafe!
